Who are the Producers?
WE ARE ASKED ALL THE TIME WHAT IS A PRODUCER AND WHAT DO THEY DO FOR MUSIC HALL?
Producers make it happen. In theatre as in life, Producers are the entrepreneurs and innovators who lead the way. At Music Hall, the Producers are the special group of supporters who dedicate time and financial support to our mission of presenting cutting edge, often Avant-Garde, diverse programming from around the world. We often work together, plan fund-raising events together, and personally meet and welcome the artists to Detroit. At the highest levels, we travel together to New York and other cities looking for talent and what is current in arts and culture worldwide with the intention of bringing home to Southeast Michigan. It is all of our responsibility to take care of the cultural well-being of our community and I hope you will consider joining our group of very cool people. It’s fun, it’s exciting and… it’s important!
