Vincent C. Paul
Vince Paul is a Detroit native and seasoned arts leader who has served as President and Artistic Director of Music Hall since 2006. After two decades working in New York and touring internationally in theater, music, and dance, he returned home to lead Detroit’s historic venue.
Under his leadership, Music Hall has undergone a remarkable transformation. He spearheaded adaptive reuse projects including the creation of Aretha’s Jazz Café, the 3Fifty Terrace rooftop, and the Music Hall Amphitheater, turning overlooked spaces into vibrant cultural destinations.
Paul’s programming philosophy celebrates variety and inclusion, positioning Music Hall as “Detroit’s People’s Theater.” His vision continues to shape the organization as a hub for world-class entertainment that reflects the city’s energy, resilience, and cultural diversity.
