Jordan Schug
Strings Instructor
Jordan Schug earned his Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas and his Masters degree in Music Improvisation from the University of Michigan. He’s studied cello with Peter McCaffrey, section cellist with the Detroit Symphony and Michael Karoub. He’s played the Detroit Jazz Festival and performs regularly with Hot Club of Detroit, Scott Gwinnell Jazz Orchestra, Ramona Collins and Ethan Daniel Davidson. Jordan played electric bass and sang backing vocals for several years with Laith Al-Saadi, who won 3rd place on NBC’s “The Voice”. He performs regularly with many Detroit area musicians and played many shows abroad, from Rome to Bangalore to Shanghai.
